Public Sector

Working with the Public Sector, and on publicly funded projects

We are committed to delivering cost effective architectural solutions for all of our Clients, whether they are private, Public or ‘third’ sector (charities).  We spend a considerable amount of time investing in relationships, aligning our understanding to that of our Clients, and working with our Clients to help deliver their expected outcomes.

Our Practice has a working history with a number of Public Sector Clients, including Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Charities (that have public funds to invest), and we remain focussed on special, unique projects.  These are typically projects that require a different approach to architecture, construction and use, along with lateral thinking and collaborative working, but delivery focussed.

Recent projects of this nature have included the FORCE Coventry Eco House Project, retrofitting an existing Victorian industrial building to create a new Business Incubation Centre, and developing a new events centre within an existing building of significant historic value.

For our Clients, we will enable access to our base of mixed business relationships that may benefit your own project, including access to local supply chain companies, field specialists and fundraisers.  If you feel that there may be a project that we can assist with, given our different approach, please do get in touch.

I have worked with Vagdia and Holmes in a number of different contexts, including construction best practice events, knowledge transfer programmes and as a Client body. In all respects, I have found them to be delivery orientated, efficient and dedicated to the tasks at hand. I would, and have, recommended this company to a number of colleagues and industry contacts.

John Barnham, Head of Sustainable Investment, Orbit Heart Of England (2013)

Thanks for the work that you have done on the 41 Canal Street Business Centre Project. Like other projects that we have worked on together, your common sense approach and design acumen proved invaluable. I was impressed with your team's ability to develop our initial ideas into workable solutions. It is always good to be able to trust an architectural practice like yours to get on with it and produce the right result.

Mr T Jones, Regeneration Consultant, Oadby and Wigston Borough Council (2013)
